We try and keep things simple but we have a few general terms and conditions that you need to be aware of:
- When ordering items that are not paid for at the point of sale we will hold the item for two weeks. After that, if the item is not paid for in full we will put it back on sale and refund any deposit taken in full.
- We sell all items in good faith and all stock is personally sourced and assessed. However please bear in mind that we sell antiques and vintage items that will not be in 'as new' condition - which is part of their charm. We will always make every effort to list the condition and provenance where appropriate of each item fully and accurately but we cannot be responsible if the item does not quite match with expectations. Much of our stock is over 100 years old and virtually all of it is over 50 so it will have lived a life.
- We guarantee to the very best of our abilities that the items we sell are genuine and original items and if there is any doubt we will say so in our description. If there is any dispute over authenticity we have experts that we can call on and in such cases we will consider their verdict final - either way.

2. Returns
- All returns require a proof of purchase.
- We only accept returns from the original purchaser of the order.
a. Damaged, unwanted or mis-ordered goods
Please inform us within 14 days
- You can cancel your order up to 14 days after the order is delivered without having to give a reason for cancelling. Return postage/shipping is at your expense.
- If you have told us within 14 days of ordering that you would like to return your order, you then have 14 days to return it, and you will be refunded within 14 days of receipt of the order being returned to us.
- Please ensure items are returned in the condition that they were sent and packaged securely. You will only be eligible for a refund once we have received the items back and confirmed they are in re-saleable condition.
- Failure to report unwanted goods within 14 days will invalidate your right to any refund.
b. Faulty goods
Please inform us within 90 days
If item in your order are faulty or develop a fault soon after purchase then please contact us as soon as you notice the fault. This should be no later than 90 days after receipt of your order.
We do not provide refunds for faulty goods under these circumstances:-
- We can prove the item was not faulty when you bought it
- You knew an item was faulty when you bought it
- You damaged an item by trying to repair it yourself or getting someone else to do it
3. Delivery
a. International orders
- We do not accept liability or responsibility for any taxes, import duties or fees for orders sent internationally.
